Atlantis DHD and Stargate

On the Atlantis DHDs, the center button is the Engage button just like the SG-1 DHDs.
  In Atlantis they have a shuttlecraft that fit throught the stargate and have a DHD built into the control panel. 
It looks like the Atlantis base DHD, but the engage button is seperate, and they use the middle button as a glyph sometimes.The DHD only has 36 glyphs. This is also true for the inner ring of the gate. 
The reason for this is that the ring doesn't spin like the Milky Way ring,so the glyph panels have to line up with all 9 chevrons. 36/9=4. |
