


![]() ![]() In Atlantis they have a shuttlecraft that fit throught the stargate and have a DHD built into the control panel.
It looks like the Atlantis base DHD, but the engage button is seperate, and they use the middle button as a glyph sometimes.The DHD only has 36 glyphs. This is also true for the inner ring of the gate.
![]() The reason for this is that the ring doesn't spin like the Milky Way ring, so the glyph panels have to line up with all 9 chevrons. 36/9=4. The 8th and 9th chevrons light up at the same time as the 7th chevron when the wormhole activates, unless they're dialing Earth or some other 8-chevron address. |
