Why this Site?
The main reason for creating and maintaining this site is:
Support for the Stargate Fandom, especially the spreading and intensification of the Fandom
I want to make people become curious on Stargate with this site. New Fans shall be won and old Fans shall get new impulses and their being-a-fan feeling shall be renewed and increased.
This site shall be an information pool for Fans and Newbees.
I want to provide and mediate discussion material and background knowledge.
I want to built an archive with the Downloads. This archive shall contain important Teasers, Trailers, Promos, Scene clips etc.
Furthermore the Stargate-Feeling shall be transported and strengthened with Goodies (Wallpapers, Pictures, Sound Clips, Screensavers, Fonts, Icons, Avatare, Texts etc.) for the visitor's own computer.
You will not find complete episodes for download. The visitors shall only get an overview about the episodes and the sourrunding. All people who want to watch episodes, shall
- Use the TV (that is very important for the TV quotes. So the producers and creators can see how many people are watching the shows in reality. If you watch a show which is saved via a TV recorder you are not in officially statistics. And that can be very bad for the future of the series because the senders decide mostly based upon the quota)
- Buy the DVD or Video (you support with this action the makers and producers of the Stargate series also)
Naturally I don't make this site not quite unselfishly. I invest a lot of my free time in this site.
I want to meet new people who are Stargate Fans.
And I reached that target well since the start of this site. I meet interesting people from all over the world, not only from germany and europe. And I hope that this will continue :-)
