Zoic is a company that makes visual effects (3D, Compositing).

Among their clients are The Scifi Channel, Sony, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox and many others.

On their website they write about how the intros were made and what effects they used.

The client was looking for a new and dynamic open for their show.
They came to Zoic looking for a creative partner to help craft the new Stargate Atlantis Title Sequence. Lead Designer Blake Robertson working with the Zoic design team came up the new look and palette for the show open. Working within the themes of the show.
