Synopsis:
Whilst returning from a mission, the team are attacked and only just make it through the Stargate under heavy fire from the Gou’ald. However only two members of the team arrive at Stargate Command. O’Neill and Cater are missing and the SGC has no idea where to even begin to look for them.
O’Neill and Carter find themselves trapped on a ice planet, deep underground with very few supplies and O’Neill badly hurt with internal bleeding and a broken leg. He must rely on Carter to get him of there alive. Carter tries to get the gate on the ice planet to work but fails and is then forced to dig a tunnel to the surface to get help, acutely aware that her commanding officer edges closer to death.
Meanwhile back at the SGC, Teal’c and Jackson use all the resources of the SGC to mount a fruitless quest to find their teammates who could be stranded on any of a thousand planets, but what they do not realise is that O’Neill and Cater are not a far away as they think.
