| Synopsis: The team are pressured to undertake a mission to find a mysterious creature that may have the power of invisibility in order to satisfy the US Military' need for superior technology. Teal'c leads them to a planet where a creature called the Fenri has been hunted by the Gou'ald for centuries. The team discover Apophis is already on the planet hunting the Fenri and they set up an ambush. The ambush goes wrong with dramatic results. The team are all killed. They awake however in a settlement with small, fairy like people called the Nox who apparently have the ability to revive the dead. The Nox have also revived a Jaffa called Shak'l who will threaten these peaceful people's existence if he is allowed to take the knowledge of their abilities and their secret location back to Apophis. Inexplicably the Nox resist every effort that SG-1 makes to defend them. Fearing for the slaughter of these seemingly defenceless creatures, the team seriously underestimate the Nox who have a power far beyond the understanding of all, friend or foe. Text by Bobbijoe |
