Synopsis:
The team discover that Teal'c did more than leave the service of Apophis when he joined SG-1, he also left behind his wife and son on Chulak. This news provides the first test of loyalty for Teal'c. Whilst maintaining his commitment to the SGC he is torn by the knowledge that he must act now to prevent his son from being implanted with a laval Gou'ald and becoming a slave to his worst enemy.
He convinces the team to return to Chulak and save his son. With the help of Bra-tac, Teal'c old Master, they find Teal'c family living as outcasts and arrive just in time to stop the implantation ceremony. In the ensuing battle to escape the Jaffa and return to earth with Teal'c family, Ryac is injured and the only thing that can save him is the very thing that Teal'c tried to save him from, the Gou'ald.
